Week 7: Friday

The Resurrection: Hope Restored

📖 Scripture:
"The angel spoke to the women: ‘There is nothing to fear here. I know you’re looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said.’"
(Matthew 28:5-6 MSG)

❤️Reflection:
If you have followed the days of the calendar, technically today is Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified, killed and buried.

However, we know the rest of the story. This is the best news in history. Jesus didn’t stay in the grave. Death didn’t win. Sin didn’t win. The story wasn’t over—and neither is yours. Because Jesus lives, we have hope. Because He rose, we can rise. No matter how dark life gets, the light always wins. You were not just saved from something—you were saved for something. You were made to make a difference.

🔥 Challenge: Praise God for the resurrection! Don’t keep this hope to yourself—share it with someone who needs it.

The Final Challenge: Be a Light

It’s that simple. Be a light in a dark place. This week, let’s take our faith beyond these pages.

📲 BLESS App Invitation:

Use The BLESS App to pray for your neighbors, check in on someone who needs encouragement, and invite someone to Easter Sunday.

Jesus gave everything for us—now let’s go and share that love with the world.

With you in this journey,

Eric

Dear Friend,

We made it. We walked the road of Lent together—through reflection, fasting, prayer, and action. We’ve wrestled with what it means to love God with everything we have and to truly be the neighbor Jesus calls us to be. And now, Easter has come, the tomb is empty, and we rejoice in the victory of our Risen Savior!

Here’s the thing—our journey doesn’t end here. Lent may have a finish line, but following Jesus? That’s an everyday kind of calling.

The world still needs people who love like Jesus. People who stop for the hurting. People who cross barriers, extend mercy, and forgive even when it’s hard. The world needs neighbors who don’t just believe in the Gospel but live it.

So don’t let this be the end. Keep fighting the good fight. Keep being the good neighbor. Keep loving Jesus with every ounce of your being. Let what God started in you during this season continue to grow, shape, and transform your life.

Remember, you’re not in this alone. We’re in it together. The same God who walked with you through these past weeks will walk with you every single day ahead. Lean on Him. Trust Him. And keep going.

I’m praying for you, cheering for you, and believing that God will use you in ways you can’t even imagine.

“God bless you and keep you;

God smile on you and shower you with His grace;

God turn His face toward you and give you deep, lasting peace.”

(Numbers 6:24-26 MSG)

With love and blessings, your friend,

Eric
